With the recent cloak and dagger incidents over baby photos of Brat Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s newborn twins and Halle Berry’s Nahla, it seems that celebrity children are becoming as hot as their parents.
The latest on celebrity parents expecting bundles of joy
Just a couple of years ago, the Shiloh Jolie-Pitt photos raked up to more than $5 million on exclusive publishing rights. Levi McConaughey’s pictures earned them $3 million from OK! Magazine. You can probably expect more of these as a new slew of celebrity parents announce that they’re having kids.
Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijin is said to be having twins by winter 2008. The two were married in July 2007 and were very vocal about wanting kids. With this new twin news, they will get their chance. Good luck to them!
BFF Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are also expecting… with their wives, of course! Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner recently admitted to having a baby. No due date has been announced regarding Violet’s new playmate. Likewise, Matt Damon will have a new lady in the house, effectively outnumbering him in the household at four-to-one. Said to be due on August 16, the new baby is a welcome addition to their household. Matt is currently involved in his charity group One X One, which helps underprivileged kids.
Actress Tina Fey comments about being a celebrity-mom, “The diapers are not great, the hours are dreadful…The baby is the only good part.” Tina is thirty-eight (38) and her baby girl Alice Zenobia is two and a half years old. She considers herself lucky to have the privilege to be a mom to Alice.
Laila Ali, on the other hand, talks about her “perfect” pregnancy. Once troubled by the fear of constant morning sickness and nausea, Laila had a change of heart and began feeling positive about her pregnancy. She is due by September and will name her child Curtis Muhammad.
In the new babies front, Martie Maguire of the Dixie Chicks recently gave birth to Harper Rosie, with husband Gareth Maguire. Marissa Jaret Winokur, of Dancing With The Stars, is a new mother to Zach Isaac Miller, with her husband Judah Miller. Television regulars Kyle MacLachlan of Desperate Housewives and Sex and the City, and Mary Lynn Rajskub of 24 also welcomed new children this July. Ethan Hawke and Ryan Shawhughes also have a bigger households this month.
Expect more baby picture hoopla when Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz give birth to their child soon.
